This Joy Tag is all about surprising and delighting the teachers or school staff in our lives with anonymous gift deliveries. Think of it as a joyful, grown-up version of ding-dong-ditch—full of appreciation, laughter, and a little bit of magic.

Where Will We Meet?
We’ll gather at our shared location, ready to head out on our night mission. My car fits seven adults, so we’ll ride together, deliver the baskets, and spread some joy and gratitude as we go.

What Are We Doing?
This is a #JoyTag Mission, a surprise joy-drop where we sneak into a friend’s yard at night and leave behind a whimsical, colorful scene for them to wake up to. Wearing costumes, we’ll decorate their yard, ring the doorbell, leave the basket, and dash! It’s our way of saying, “You’re appreciated,” with a burst of fun and surprise.

How Long Will It Take?
Plan for about 1–2 hours, depending on how elaborate our surprise is and how much time we spend getting silly and inspired along the way.

What Should You Bring?
Each person will bring seven identical items, priced between $5 and $10. We’ll use these to create seven beautiful gift baskets, one for each recipient. These baskets will be delivered in secret during our mission, along with playful yard decorations to make the moment extra memorable.
