Ride and Roll Adventure

$0.00

June 16th @ 6:30 to 9:00/9:30 PM
Meet at Taku Lake Parking Lot - 100 E 76th Ave

I'm offering these first Joy Pod gatherings as a gift while I build my portfolio and grow this vision. In the future, I’ll suggest a $20 contribution for events like this, but this first one is completely free.

If this way of gathering lights something up in you and you’d like to support what I’m creating, I’d be so grateful. Sign up again and bring a friend, take pictures and post on social media, or help spread the word. This way of gathering holds so much potential to offer what many of us are deeply craving right now, real connection, joy, and community.

A high-energy, costume-packed biking adventure with unexpected twists and tons of joyful activities along the way! Think of it as a blend of a bike parade, obstacle course, treasure hunt, and recess games, laughter and teamwork at every turn. Everyone Is encouraged to dress in playful, wacky costumes.

This is not your average bike ride. This is a costume-fueled joy adventure on two wheels.

Costume Cruise and Trial Adventure is a high-energy, costume-packed biking experience. Part bike parade, part obstacle course, part treasure hunt, with a full dose of recess-style games and surprise challenges. Grab your wacky wig, tutu, or superhero cape, we’re riding into ridiculous joy, one pedal at a time.

The Vibe
Costumes (bring your own or use mine), vibrant bike flair, and laughter echoing down the trail. Expect unexpected detours, epic team moments, and the kind of giddy fun that reminds you how good it feels to play. Whether you're a serious cyclist in a banana suit or a casual cruiser with fairy wings, you belong here.

Who’s This For?
This ride is for adults (ages 18+) who are ready to pedal into playfulness and roll through the city with flair.

Where Will We Meet?
We’ll gather at the Taku Lake parking lot, where the adventure begins! We’ll start by flairing up our bikes with costumes, ribbons, and other fun accessories (bring your own or borrow from our stash). Once our rides are decked out, we’ll cruise together along the trail.

Where Are We Headed?
We’re biking to the Arctic Roadrunner—a local legend—where we’ll treat ourselves to milkshakes and bask in the glory of a well-ridden ride. Expect time to play and relax near the stream, with big recess energy and impromptu joy.

How Long is the Event?
The ride and hangout will take about 1.5–2 hours, depending on our snack time and streamside lounging.

What Should You Bring?
A bike (any kind), a helmet, water bottle, weather-appropriate layers, and your silliest costume or flair.
